And the FOX-Dollhouse thing is making me sad. It's been a while since I've followed any TV series and now...PLEASE DON'T TAKE AWAY MY SHOW. T_T

Hello everyone.

Since the ratings for our show aren't really that great and this might pose a problem (please read) rather soon, we seriously need to gear up!

There is no guarantee that calling and mailing them is going to do anything good, albeit we did a great job at it to get a second season in the first place. It would do much better if the ratings for the next episode actually would improve, don't you think?

Here is our proposal for a plan: GENERATE AS MANY COUNTED VIEWS AS POSSIBLE AND ASK YOUR FRIENDS TO DO THE SAME!
Here we have compiled a list with all methods that are counted towards the raitings!

As you see this is only the very basic of the plan, as the big part really is to get more people to watch it in one form or another than normally. How can you do that, you wonder. Simple: LET EVERYONE KNOW ABOUT DOLLHOUSE AND THEIR OPTIONS TO HELP! After all some of us did write and call for Chuck and The Sarah Connor Chronicles to get renewed. And the year before it was that other show we called for. It's time you cash in that favor your friends owe you!

This is where the fandom comes in: Create banners, buttons or whatever you're good at. Share them with us and post to your journal, twitter, FB etc. In other words benefit from the creativity of the fandom and GET THE WORD OUT! Tweet about it [ #RecordDollhouse], write about it on LJ and Facebook, declare your love for Dollhouse on MySpace, Orkut and DigIt, Stumpleupon it and Delicious it too!See

We will be posting one entry a day, reminding the community about it. This will also be where you can share your contributions with others or get those banners to post to your accounts. To bring a little order into the chaos, each day will feature other characters of the show which will also help to make the potential Dollhouse overdose less repetitive as you basically can introduce a new character every day!

Wednesday: Sierra, Victor
Thursday: Topher Brink, Boyd Langton
Friday: Laurence Dominic, Dr. Claire Saunders, November, Ivy, Tanaka, Alpha and any other supporting character you can think of!

As you can see, this way you can make icons on Monday, write a story on Tuesday, create a wallpaper on Wednesday, write thought-provoking character studies on Thursday and do a massive pic-spam on Friday! (Or whatever it is you like to do really!)

So get ready to lovingly annoy your friends on every social networking platform you have an account on, call your parents to let them know what they're doing Friday night and email your friends that you'll gladly take care for their cats and flowers when they go on holiday if they help you out this Friday! (And if not asked to much the rest of the season too!) Lend them your S1 DVDs if they want to catch up quickly or link them to Hulu, iTunes or Amazon.

In October of 1922, a man named Herbert Birch Kingston invented Sweetest Day as an opportunity to do philanthropic acts toward local Cleveland shut-ins, orphans, and other poor and needy. Celebrated primarily in the Great Lakes region of the US, Sweetest Day was started not, as many treat it today, as an attempt by candy companies to drum up a "second Valentine's Day", but as a day for performing random acts of kindness toward both loved ones and complete strangers.

In celebration of that original spirit, this year I'd like to attempt a little drabblethon, toward the goal of spreading love, giving and happiness throughout the intercollected realm of fandom.

What is this?

What's the cause?
This auction is to raise money for the medical expenses of faithhopetricks and her husband. They have no health insurance and no savings, and her husband requires immediate heart surgery. Both have other potentially life-threatening conditions which have gone untreated or poorly treated due to their lack of health insurance. Some details have been left out for reasons of privacy. Please do not contact faithhopetricks to inform her of government assistance programs she can apply for. We are working on that. However, if you know of job openings for an IT professional in greater Seattle, her husband will be seeking a job as soon as he recovers.
